Again Back to the 28th October 2002 and the A-3 Skywarrior First Flight Anniversary Reunion at Van Nuys, CA. Here NRA-3B N876RS (formerly BuNo 142667 / PMTC '76') is released by the ground crew to taxi towards the runway prior to her flight.
28th October 2002 and the A-3 Skywarrior First Flight Anniversary Reunion at Van Nuys, CA. Raytheon made NRA-3B N876RS (formerly BuNo 142667 / PMTC '76') available for a flight. In this photo N876RS is being towed back to the ramp after her flight.
This NRA-3B Skywarrior was operated by the PMTC as '71' and she was carrying some very interesting stores on her pylons. She was later bailed to Hughes (then Raytheon) as a missile test bed as N876R and so became one of the last Skywarriors flying.

Another exotic Skywarrior on the VAQ-34 ramp at NAS Point Mugu on 28th October 1989, this was ERA-3B BuNo 142846 as '10'. When she retired she went on to N547HA with Raytheon/Hughes but was later scrapped.
Better known as the "whale" this Skywarrior is waiting to be put on display on NAS Whidbey Island. Until it is, they occasionally roll it out during special occasions for public viewing.
