NZ2013 was part of a diverted RAF order and was shipped directly to Auckland from Los Angeles. The Hudson is finished in the colour scheme that it would have worn when serving with No.4 Squadron, RNZAF, at Nausori, Fiji in 1943-44.
NZ2013 (RAF serial V9241) served with No.4 Squadron, RNZAF, flying from Nausori air base, Fiji in early 1942. The Hudson III is on display at Wigram since 1996 in 4 Squadron c/s and coded 'YZ-R'.
NZ2031 entered RNZAF service with No.2 GR Squadron at Nelson on 2 January, 1942, coded 'UH-H'. Later in the war, NZ2031 served with 3 Squadron at Espiritu Santo and as the personal transport of the AOC No.1 Islands Group at Guadalcanal.
Operated by the Temora Aviation Museum under the civil reg. VH-KOY. The scheme represents A16-211 of No.6 Squadron RAAF during the decisive Battle for Milne Bay.
