Ref photo I.D. 230101, F-105D posted 12 Aug. For information this aircraft is a variation named "Thunder Stick II" as indicated by the
long, deep Dorsal hump running from canopy to base of vertical fin. This housed the antenna for Loran navigation system. This greatly inproved bombing accuracy. However these planes did not see action in Vietnam. Only 30 aircraft were built so finding one to photograph was a lucky shot and a very nice shot too! Well done.
