PT462 has been finished in her authentic wartime c/s. The Spitfire served, as an HF.IXe, with 253 Squadron from several Italian airfields, including Brindisi andTreviso. PT462, converted to a two-seater in the 1980's, is now based at Duxford with ARCo.

The well-known 'Grace Spitfire' undergoing maintenance at Duxford. Note the engineer reaching for his mug. ML407 is in her former c/s of 485 (New Zealand) Squadron and was taken on charge by 485 at RAF Selsey, on the south coast, on 30th April, 1944.

MH367 entered service with 65 Squadron, RAF, in August 1943 at RAF Kingsnorth. Partially scrapped after the war, MH367 was rebuilt as a two-seat and first flew in 2006. Two years later the Spitfire came to New Zealand and is currently based at Ardmore.

With the rear canopy removed and cockpit covered, Tr.9 MJ772 has a more authentic look, representing LF.IX PL488 of Commandant Jacques Andrieux, CO of 341 Squadron (GC III/2 Alsace) in October 1944. MJ772 served with this unit in the first months of 1944.

The Boultbee Spit with pilot Matt Jones and 'navigator' Willy Hackett fuel stopping at Texel enroute to Kjevik, Norway. Code 'KJ-I' is of 4 Squadron, SAAF, and represents Spitfire V ES127 which was converted in the field into a 2-seater for 261 Squadron.

MJ627 (ex Irish Air Corps IAC-158) landing on 24-Grass. The Spitfire is in the markings of 441 'Silver Fox' Squadron, RCAF, and is based at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire and is regularly flown by former BBMF fighter pilot S/L Paul Day.
