I shot this as VF-24 flew from NAS Miramar to the USS Ranger (CV-61) off California for pre-deployment workups. The tactical paint scheme (TPS) was new to us. Aircrew items are in a white bag in the back of the canopy. This jet was also a "missile ferry."

I shot this as VF-24 flew from NAS Miramar to the USS Ranger (CV-61) off California for pre-deployment workups. We had a mix of light gray jets and tactical paint scheme (TPS). 200 has only one name on the canopy rail: CAG CHAPMAN, air wing commander.
