One of the planes that took part of the 2004 Volkel AB airshow, was this magnificent looking Dakota C3, owned by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Two Edwards AFB F-16B's, 92-0455/ED and 92-0456/ED, just landed at NAS Fort Worth. These planes are to support the first flight of the F-35A Lightning II prototype.
This Skyraider was delivered to the South Vietnam Air Force and flew as the '132683'. Later it was recovered from Thailand and was put in storage. Nowadays this plane is airworthy again as seen here at the 2007 Nellis AFB airshow.
This North American P-64 is in fact a replica from a US Navy SNJ-4 (BuNo 51363). Only 13 P-64's were built since 1940 and were in service with the USAAF and the air force of Peru.
One of the chase planes during flight #20 of the F-35A Lightning II, was this F-16DJ. This plane is also used as a flying testbed for the F110-GE-132 engine, the engine used in the block 60 Desert Falcon.
The final resting place of F-4E, 68-0531/HO. Still painted in the colors of Captain Steve Ritchie's Phantom, when he shot down 5 MiG-21's over Vietnam in 1972.
