Since 2003, this F-16A was in service with the Italian Air Force. It previously served with the USAF as 82-1023. Sadly, this plane crashed together with MM7263 after the planes collided on 22 May 2006.
The UH-1E was developed from the UH-1B (and later from the UH-1C), to meet USMC requirements. This particular helicopter was built in 1966 and is currently owned by The Collings Foundation.
Together with the 761574/AF-114, these VFC-111 'Sundowner' aircraft are about to take off from Fort Worth Alliance airport. Clearly visible is the different color schemes in which VFC-111 have painted their aircraft.
Another great participant of the 2004 airshow at Lelystad airport was this Ju-52. This airframe was found somewhere in the UK in the 1990's and was fully restored to airworthy conditions.
Wing folding demonstration of a Douglas Skyraider. This aircraft served previously with the air forces of France and Gabon from where it was recovered in 1976. It was damaged in 1982 and crashed in 1992. It has been restored again to airworthy conditions.
A P-47D Thunderbolt is preparing to take-off, to perform at the 2007 Barksdale AFB. Since 1995, this plane is repainted as '44-33240/IA-N' Tarheel Hal.
The production of this plane was finished by the end of 1943 and was soon delivered to the USAAF but was rapidly removed from service. Eventually the plane was donated to the CAF where it was restored to the condition as it was in 1944.
Since 1966, this Twin Mustang is owned by the CAF, which restored it back to flying conditions. In October 1987 it was damaged when the gear collapsed during landing. It has not flown ever since.
