Highlight of the show was probably this very rare TS-8 Bies. Approx. 250 aircraft were built, which were in service with the Polish and Indonesian AF. At this day, only two examples are still airworthy. (scan from print)
A Turkish Viper on static display at Leeuwarden. On 11th September 2001 this plane crashed after the pilot lost situational awareness when flying through the clouds. When exiting the clouds he pulled up, and bottomed out into some trees. (scan from print)
This Fitter is preserved at Leeuwarden AB. It started its career with the Egyptian AF and served later with the German AF as 98+62. Now it spends its days being painted in Soviet AF markings. (scan from print)

RIAT 2002. This type of plane is developed for infiltration, exfiltration and resupply of special ops forces and equipment in hostile or denied territory. Secondary missions include psychological operations and helicopter air refueling. (scan from print)
A Sea King AEW7 at RIAT 2002. Since then, this helicopter has been converted to ASaC7. Attached to the fuselage, on a swivel arm, is a Searchwater radar. This allows the helicopter to lower the radar below the fuselage in flight. (scan from print)
