Farewell C-160D!
WTD61 Transall's final flight, with a nice low take-off in front of Manching's control tower. Right to the special patch on the fuselage are the last flight's date, November 23rd 2021, and signatures of the aircrew.
50 (actually only one...) shades of grey on this Flight Test Tornado. 9860 was the penultimate Luftwaffe Tornado to loose its green / lizard Norm 83 camouflage.
The new patch on its tail refers to an "FTI/FTGS - Refurbishment".
Top Gun style... during the opening of the annual Axalp Firepower demonstration one Hornet was sneaking in from behind and 'buzzed' the Control Tower and the crowd positioned there, of course with full afterburner and popping out flares.
shortly before its end of service with the Aeronavale / French Navy, this Alouette thankfully showed up at the La Ferté-Alais airshow and even flew during the event. Merci 'a l'Aeronavale!
originally a French Skyradier, and wearing the colors of 20e Escadre de Chasse (EC 1/20 "Aures Nementcha"), it has now been re-painted in a rather attractive USAF camouflage scheme of the Vietnam era
The Transall is clearly showing its age. Due to the patchy paintwork I have nearly missed the anniversary markings on this one, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Transport Squadron ET 3/61 Poitou

The French Air Force "A400M Tactical Display" at the La Ferté-Alais airshow, flying this special marked A400M of 4/61 Béarn Transport Squadron from Évreux-Fauville, sporting a "Red Bull" on both sides of the fuselage

Air-air session with one of only two remaining military Hueys in Germany, the flying testbed / MAT of WTD61. Thanks for that opportunity! I wanted to go for the full rotor disc and this was the lucky shot, but please don't ask how many shots of that serie
