Leaving from a Veteran's Day visit at the Museum of Flight. "My Old Lady" was supposed to be retired and signed over to the MoF on this day, but due to a delay in paperwork, the retirement has been put on hold, necessitating her return to JBLM.
My Old Lady settles in to land in front of the Museum of Flight. Tours were given today in perpetration of her being put on permanent display at the MoF. She is currently the oldest Chinook flying in the world.
91-0261 is the oldest flying Chinook left in the world. She "previewed" her future home for a few hours before flying back to JBLM. In November, she will make her last flight to BFI, where she will be put on permanent display in the MoF.
